Inexpensive Holiday Palette (Great for gifts)

Watch this to see my full review (:

I came across this very nifty palette on hautelook. For those of you who are not familiar with that website, it is basically a site with flashsales that last 24-72 hours. They have items that are up to 90% off (only when it's a REALLY good deal). They have decent prices and shipping is usually about $5.00.

Here is an invite link in case you are interested!

Anyways, this palette caught my eyes because of the beautiful colors. When I looked up this palettes pricing I found out that it is actually on sale right now for $16.00!! That is incredible for such high quality eyeshadows.

The palette is gorgeous and the colors are so festive!! If you have a friend who is a makeup lover or you just want to have that perfect palette for any holiday party, I recommend checking this one out!

Where you can find this palette: Click here!

We can't forget about swatches!!

Talk to you all very soon (:

P.S - Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful day filled with warmth, love, and delicious food!! (:

First Impressions : Makeup Forever Wild & Chic Collector Case

Hello Beauties!

I am back with a first impressions/review on a limited edition Makeup Forever collector case. It really appealed to me because of the wide variety of products. Yes, this case is pretty dang expensive BUT if a lot of these products are ones you have thought about buying then maybe it is worth it for you. Because it is a limited editiong Sephora online exclusive it can only be found on the Sephora website.

Price: $330

Yes, I realize that the price seems a bit steep but for the amount of products you are receiving it is quite a steal. Also, if you ever come across discount codes to sephora, I would recommend using them for something such as this to get as much of a discount as you can. I purchased this during the Friends & Family Sale making the total $260. I also think that this would make an excellent gift for a daughter for Christmas!

To see the products in action and to hear more about this products watch my First Impressions Video!

On to the swatches!

The finish on these were very nice. They were not matte and had a slight satin finish to them. They felt very creamy and long-lasting.

I actually found that the although the aqua creams were very creamy and had a nice consistency, the application was quite blotchy when applied to the skin.
The Star Powder did not show up as white on the skin, the golden/pink opalescence is what came through.

I was very dissapointed in how unpigmented the black Aqua Eyes looked on the skin. Both the Aqua Eyes and Aqua Liner are extremely waterproof though! (:

This is a beautiful highlighter. I would recommend it for deeper skin tones. This would work well if you mixed it in with your foundation for an all over luminous glow.

If you have any questions please feel free to leave them in the comments down below.

Have a wonderful week!
Kelly xoxo

The Grim Masquerade

Hello lovelies!
I am SO excited about this makeup tutorial!! This has got to be my favorite one yet. I love doing fun and dramatic looks. Because I mostly do makeup for TV shows or weddings, I never really get to play around with colors and that is why I adore Halloween! It's great practice and SO much fun!

Watch this to learn how to do it on yourself! (:

Here are some HD Photos of the look! (:

Here is the picture of I got my inspiration from:
He was one of three winners who won the Illamasqua contest. I think that the look is very "joker-esque" bahahaha.

Anyways, I hope you all have an amazing halloween and can make use of this look! (:

Cleopatra

One of the most iconic and distinct looks for halloween. Today I am bringing you a Cleopatra makeup tutorial. I am very fond of the outcome. I think that it is very glittery and glamorous but not too over the top for those of you who don't want to scare anyone away! This look can definitely be toned down by just applying regular eyeliner to the water like rather than the golden liquid eyeliner.  I also think that if you wanted to take this look an extra step, adding a brown lip liner and blending it in into the gold lips would make this look a bit more sophisticated and well put together. With a black wig and a gold dress, you are set to head out for a Halloween party, trick-or-treating with your kids, or simply watching scary movies and handing candy out to all the dressed up children. I love Halloween soooo much! It is one of my favorite holidays...probably because I like to dress up and just have an excuse to go crazy with my makeup. Anyways, I hope you really enjoy this look.
