Product Rave!

Hello Beautifulz!
I wanted to share with all of you a product I have found and absolutely fell in love with! It's the Lorac 3D Liquid Lustre
This product comes out of a little dropper and it is so amazing because it does not crease or have any fall out!!! It's like magic in a tube! You can use it over your eyeshadows, on your lid, or even on your cheeks. It can be found at Sephora and Ulta and it retails at $16. I really enjoy this product and recommend it!
Here is a swatch of it...

I made a video showing you how to use the 3d Liquid Lustre Drops and have another one on the way!

Please tell me what you think about this product!  :)

Thanks for listening and I hope to hear from you all very soon :)

Look to watch out for!

I am so excited to make this tutorial! I was messing around with some makeup and trying to do somethign that was very uncommon.

A neutral brown smokey eye with glitter...and lots of it!

Here is a sample of the look. This picture doesn't do it any justice because it was hard to capture all of the glitter. This look is absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

Vintage Floral Nails

Within the past few months I have been completely in love with trying new things with my nails. Today I came up with a design that I am quite proud of!
It's totally inspired by vintage floral design!

Here are the products I used to achieve this:
Essie Turquoise & Caicos
Essie Borrowed & Blue
Essie Tart Deco
Wet N' Wild Everybody Loves Redmond
Nicole by O.P.I One Time Lime
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

Here are the steps to achieve this look:
1. Mix Essie Turquoise & Caicos with Essie Borrowed & Blue to get that light vintage green color.
2. With the end of a paintbrush make medium sized dots with Essie's Tart Deco (Light peachy/pink color)
3. With a small paintbrush paint a red line on top of the circle, below it, and one from the middle out.
4. Wipe that brush off & reuse with a green shade (One Time Lime) to paint the leaves.
5. Let dry & apply top coat!

I know this is probably a little confusing but it is easier than you think! This design isn't supposed to look absolutely perfect so don't stress it!

If anyone tries this look please send pics :)

Weather!

Hello my beautiful followers!

I apologize for the neglect to this blog these last 2 weeks. Finals have been absolutely dreadful but they're almost over with and I can finally devote more time to all of you!
For any of you who are not aware, I have made a more day-to-day blog where I make more random posts about my everyday life.
Here is the link http://kellyaeveryday.tumblr.com/

These last few days have been quite dreary and foggy. I began to notice a pattern in the way I do my makeup. This is pretty funny.
Here is a picture from last week when it was bright and sunny

Today was very foggy and  cloudy and this is how I did my makeup

I thought it was quite interesting to see the vast difference in how I did my makeup! Does this happen to any of you? I'm sure it does! I never even noticed how much the weather affects my mood and style but it truly does!

Anyways, I hope it starts to warm up so we can have more excuses to visit the beautiful beach!

Foggy weather and beach days...Kelly :)

Sunless Tanner Update

Hey everyone!

I just thought I would upload a more updated picture of how my sunless tanner has been working. I am still just so impressed and loving myself being tan! For anyone who hasn't been following my blog, I've been using the Jergen's Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer.

These pictures go in order from before, after a week, and now (about 3 weeks later)

I am just so happy because  I look naturally tan and I have been getting a lot of compliments. I don't think I've ever been tan my entire life so it's just a really nice change :)

I hope you all have found this helpful!

Quick tip: How to prevent gel liner from drying out

Hello my beautifulz!
I hope you are all doing fantastic :)
I wanted to make a post about how to prevent your gel liners from drying out. Mac fluidline is so infamous for its lack of longevity. In the past, I've only been able to use about half of the pot before it drys out! I have heard that the Bobbi Brown gel liner lasts much, much longer so you might be interested to check that out
My little quick tip from preventing gel liners from drying is honestly so simple and easy to remember! all you have to do is place the gel liner face down on the (clean) surface you are working on. This will prevent air from directly hitting the product, further preserving the liquid in it.
(kind of like this but with the lid off of course!)

Another way of restoring your already dried out gel liners is to add eye drops to them. I have personally never done it but I've heard that it works quite well. If you execute this little quick tip into your everyday routine your gel liner is bound to last you for such a long time!

Here is a video explaining this process a little more clearly :)

Hope you enjoyed! If you have any questions please message me.

Stay beautiful!

Prom time! :)

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is having just a fabulous week :)
I just wanted to make sure everyone knew I made a tumblr account. I plan to use this as more of a personal blog so that I can keep all of you updated on my everyday life :)
The link to that is http://kellyaeveryday.tumblr.com/

Moving on...It's almost the end of the semester for me and is now prom season for all of you highschoolers! How exciting is that?? :) I didn't go to prom because I didn't have many friends that went when I was in highschool but I'm sure it will be a memorable event that you will all always think back on :) Make sure to take lots and lots of beautiful photos! I feel like most of the fun of prom is getting ready beforehand. I love having an excuse to get all pretty-ed up for a special even. If I could give all of you one tip (if you're doing your own makeup), use a matte finish foundation and put on more than you normally would. You want your photos to come out flawless and a foundation with any sheen to it will make you look sweaty & oily. As always, I recommend the Revlon Colorstay because of its longevity, matte finish, inexpensive price, and because you can buy the formula made for YOUR skin (oily or dry).
Speaking of prom season, I did the sweetest girl's makeup and hair today. She looked absolutely beautiful! She totally could have gone to prom without any makeup and looked just as beautiful though. It was just so much fun because she was so sweet and so funny! I am not so sure if she wants me posting pics of her face up on here but I will show the pic of her taylor swift inspired hair :)

Here is the Taylor Swift picture I referred to

And here is my creation!

How beautiful is her hair!!!

Anyways, I hope you all continue to have a beautiful spring time and a wonderful day :)

Sunless Tanner?

Hello everyone!
How is everyone spring so far?? It is sooooooo ridiculously hot where I live. Summer is going to be sososossosoo hot! Speaking of which, that starts June 21st! Make sure to wear lots and lots of sunscreen because we don't our beautiful little faces to get burnt! Sun is the number one damage causing entity to our skin, so protect it!! What I have been doing to keep my skin a golden color without loads of skin-damaging sun rays is applying the Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer every single day. This stuff is honestly my new holy grail!! I was skeptical at first because I am so pale and just about any fake tanner is destined to turn me orange, but not this one! I am pleased to say that I am in love with the results. No orange, just a golden, natural-looking tan. OH YEAH, and did I mention that this entire bottle only cost me $7.50?? You can find it at just about any drug store, target, wal mart, ulta, etc. It is so inexpensive, especially compared to all of those high brands who charge like $75 a bottle.

I also bought the healthy complexion daily face moisturizer. Maybe it's because I was my face twice a day with an exfoliant that my skin doesn't get much color. I see a subtle difference but not nearly as much as i see with the rest of my body. I don't know what it is but this doesn't work as well as I had hoped but you could definitely give it a try! :)

In case you are interested I did a more in depth review on this product on my channel :) Don't forget to subscribe!

Here are also some before&after pictures. I took the second picture a week after using the lotion. My skin just looks SO much healthier doesn't it?!?! I absolutely love it and totally recommend it!

So all of you remember to keep you skin protected because sun exposure is not good for our skin and can have many serious consequences in the long run. Instead of tanning try using this sunless tanner and tell me what you think :)

Beautiful skin and sun-filled days...Kelly :)
